Stress Management

Stress is the number one killer in the Western world today.

Stress, overtime unreleased, wears us down: stress gradually invites infirmity, dulls the senses and clouds our judgment and provides the perfect breeding ground for disease.

Stress can come from too much of everything creating an overload: information overload, internal narratives, and thoughts, self-imposed expectations, worrying about worrying, increasing sensitivity to and pressure from the environment and the changing of the Age.

The most common remedy for stress is to treat the symptoms, by taking tranquilizers, alcohol, tobacco, denial and excuses, suppressing it through chronic shopping (on-line or in stores), television viewing or overeating, and other external stimulation, to name a few coping quick-fix strategies. It is like driving with one foot on the accelerator and the other on the brakes…you don’t get very far.

This Five-week program designed to help all – kundalini yoga practitioner and the general public – to live in the world – light, bright, beautiful, kind and strong – and stress-free.

Objectives of this program are to:

  • Recognize signs and symptoms of stress in ourselves
  • Discover what your stress burden is and how to create a shift to leassen the load
  • Explore the general process, effects and downsides of too much stress.
  • Build our core vitality, mental endurance and spiritual clarity with nutrition, breath techniques, meditation and yoga.

I cultivate my core vitality and honour the opportunities that come with each breath – to receive them as a gift. I recognize the value of my physical and energetic bodies and take steps to maintain them. I thrive under stress and challenge; I am a spiritual warrior who delivers leadership, elevation and effective decisions. I practice a lifestyle that incorporates continuous preventative habits for vitality and victory. I have the mental and spiritual endurance to cross every crisis and be a beacon to navigate and excel in the Aquarian Age.
