Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is an ancient and holistic practice that blends sequenced yoga exercises and postures, breathing techniques and meditation, deep relaxation, including mantras and chanting. Builds inner and outer strength.
Chair yoga is a gentle form of Kundalini yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support.
Breathwalk, the science of combining breath patterns with steps and focused attention, originating from 5,000 year-old Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan PhD, conditions the body, mind and spirit. Learning to consciously breathe and walk, elevates mood, reduces the effects of diabetes and high blood pressure, and improves energy and mental clarity, with aerobic exercise benefits.
MNB combines the techniques of Breathwalk™ which is the watchful synchronization of special breath rhythms with your steps and the use of Nordic Urban Poling methods to give you an all-body workout. The blend of these two powerful techniques brings greater improvement to the physical and mental health!
Nordic walking using the ACTIVATOR poles, designed for increasing safety, performance and stability. This practice helps to improve core strength, posture, balance, improved confidence for walking; reduced impact on hips and knees and increased endurance . Great practice for post-surgery and for individuals with Parkinson’s.
For women at any stage of their pregnancy based on Kundalini yoga gentle and uplifting practices.
This Yoga offers a gentle and healing approach to hatha yoga. Restorative yoga is used in the case of particular ailments and provides techniques for preventing and managing health concerns.
Children’s yoga is a natural and healthy way to exercise, relax, focus, and strengthen their mind/body/spirit connection. Yoga games, breath meditations, and deep relaxations are wonderful tools to promote children’s health and well-being.
The workout will include warm-ups, a physically challenging Kundalini yoga set, a 31 minute meditation and a gong relaxation.
