Travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light ~ Yogi Bhajan
The Golden Journey of the Soul India Yatra walks you through your senses to the spaces of Gold inspired by Guru Nanak. This Journey is not only about the apparent differences in language, culture, foods, spaces and their discovery. It is about taking you out of yourself; so you can experience your brightest light, on a deeper level.
It is a voyage of one as much as it is a voyage of community; bringing together our talents, bringing together our experiences as human beings wherever we are in our own cycle of life.
Together, we will live the sacredness of the land, the beauty of the chaos and the magnificence of the people. Through nature, silence, daily practice of Kundalini Yoga, Breathwalk, spiritual insights provided by experienced teachers, and more, we will be nourished and connected to the most sacred of our humanness.
Wrapping up our time together…March 4, 2015
We have crossed over ocean and seas and navigated through the depths of our Soul. We have followed the steps of Guru Nanak and have take some fearless ones of our own. The signs of our journey, the physical and spiritual ones were everywhere for us to see – subtlety and overtly.
The soles, the Inukshuks, the feathers, the animals and human angels pushed us as individuals and as a group to see beyond what could be seen, to touch beyond what could be touched…
We accomplished what we set out to do – knowingly and unknowingly.
We have been witness to poverty, eyes of despair, eyes of strategy and survival. We have been witness to the beauty of faces, of smiles and the resilience of those who carry them…and have vibrated with humility and a sense of servitude.
Remembering, without separation, that nothing is perfect, but all is perfect.
We have carried our communities forward in each individual journey. EK ONG KAR – All is One.
Let this resonate into our life as we return and continue this extraordinary journey…for remember… it never ends.
“The strength behind the muscles is the nerves. The strength behind the nerves is the stamina, and the strength behind the stamina is you.” – Yogi Bhajan
